243 Broadway Street, Ellsworth, Wisconsin. That's our new address. OUR. NEW. ADDRESS. YB Urban? Studio + Shop. To say I am flabbergasted that we are about to have an empty linen closet in our bathroom and no worries about the flavor of soap on our dinner plates is an understatement. For 2 years I have been planning my escape out of the home kitchen and into my own production space and tomorrow, it all happens...(insert high pitched squeal) tomorrow! This has been no easy feat. When we joined the Ellsworth Chamber of Commerce "Pop-Up Ellsworth" program we had a month to ready the space and open...now we have a week. The walls are painted, the kitchen is cleaned, the fixtures are (sort of) ready, and I have (some) inventory. Yes, I'm a little panicked. Yes, I am extremely overwhelmed. Yes, I am super excited. Yes, I am deeply, deeply grateful.
When We Open...
This place is going to smell amazing. That musty, dirty basement smell? Say goodbye. The scents of pure essential oils is going to permeate every crack and crevice, and the scent of our products is going to find a home on every surface. This building is going to transform from a neglected, empty space into a dynamic gathering place that you won't be able to walk into without feeling immediately relaxed, refreshed, and renewed.
When We Open...
We will be in service to our community and the communities that surround us. Our awesome products will only get better with more room to grow. Our lives will only get better with each person who walks through OUR door. An empty downtown? We are one shop closer to changing the landscape in East End. Come in to shop, come in to play, come in to gather. We are here to give the opportunity for a healthier, more vibrant lifestyle to everyone around us. We can't wait to show you what more is up our sleeves as the months go on.

We do not plan to close. There, I said it, it's on the internet, it must be true. The pop-up shop program runs for 3 months, but I have no intention of moving out. We are here to participate in the vision of this community to grow and prosper. We want to be here. I have a million dreams of what this space can become and there is no way in hell it's going to happen in 3 months. Sorry, Ellsworth, as long as we know you want us here, I think you're going to be stuck with us!
Please stay posted for our official opening days and hours and our grand opening celebration and ribbon cutting coming later this month. If your in the area and the door is unlocked, even if we are officially not open...we are open...come in and say hello! We can't wait to meet our neighbors!
