Hemp seed oil is very absorbent and can help with the absorbency of other oils, like pure essential oils when used as a carrier. It has a distinctive odor and green color from the high level of chlorophyll naturally present in the seeds. This oil does not contain THC and will not get you high, but it will help with rejuvenating and nourishing tight or dry skin and prevents flakiness and itchiness. When used on the face, it controls oil production to moisturize without clogging pores. Hemp seed oil restores the skin barrier and helps it to retain moisture, which results in skin that looks healthy, hydrated, and supple. Hemp seed oil is also not the same as CBD, which comes from the leaves, stalks, and flowers of the same plant.
