Yoga Classes at Country Fit- 6 Week Session
Join me for a 6-week yoga experience that will include a variety of classes in the Hatha yoga style. This is a class for all fitness levels from beginner to intermediate with modifications offered. We will explore classes that range from Gentle Restorative to Vinyasa Flow and include a mix of fundamental poses, meditation, and optional aromatherapy (self-administered). Each class is limited to 10 participants. Classes run60 minutes.
DUE TO COVID-19: You must provide your own mat and props, no drop-ins will be available, and no hands-on application of essential oils will be administered. You are welcome to bring your own essential oils. Masks are not required. Social distancing of 6 feet between participants is required.
My style is based in fundamental Hatha yoga practice, holding core poses, flowing through asanas, improving strength, balance, flexibility, and learning to use the breath to find relaxation, stress relief, and wellness. I begin each class with a series of breathing and focus exercises and end with meditation accompanied by aromatherapy. I use modifications and cues to vary the nature of poses from less strenuous to more challenging, encouraging each student to begin where they are, honoring their own body, and be present in the moment. My students range in age, physical ability, and fitness level, and to watch them improve week after week, dedicating themselves to their practice, brings my heart immense joy!
